a template is a whole setup you can install in one go: modules and their settings, messages, cards, flows and commands. make one from a server you like, install one from the gallery, or share yours.
install one
open the template gallery, pick one and press install. choose the server (or one of your bots), see exactly what it changes, then install. it remembers where it came from, so when its author publishes a new version you can see what's new and apply it.

in the dashboard, templates → make a template: pick a server (or a bot of your own) and tick what goes in. channels and roles become slots, filled in by whoever installs it, and secrets like web request keys are always left out.
