Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Cloudbow Studio ("we", "us"), which provides arii: the Discord bot, the website at arii.love, its dashboard and the custom bots you can run with it (together, "arii"). arii is made by Ahri. By using arii you agree to these terms, to our privacy policy and to our community guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use arii.

Who can use arii

You need a Discord account and must follow Discord's terms. You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. If you use arii for a group or a server, you confirm you're allowed to set it up there.

Your account

You sign in with Discord. Keep your Discord account secure: whatever is done through it on arii counts as yours. Tell us at support@arii.love if you think someone else is using it.

What arii does, and what it doesn't promise

arii helps you run Discord servers: music, welcomes, messages, flows, levels, moderation and more. We work to keep it fast and available, but it is provided "as is" and may change, pause or stop. Features can be added, changed or removed, and we may stop offering arii or any part of it at any time; when a paid feature changes in a way that matters to you, we'll tell you in advance where we can.

arii relies on other services to work, Discord first among them. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they do, change or stop doing.

arii is not made, endorsed or run by Discord.

Your content

What you create with arii (messages, cards, flows, templates, settings, uploaded files) stays yours. You give us a licence to store, process, display and copy it only as needed to run arii for you and the people you share it with. When you publish a template or a public profile, you also let other people view and use it as arii allows (installing a template, for example).

You're responsible for what you create and share, and for having the right to share it.

Music

arii plays audio from third-party services when you ask it to. You're responsible for what you play and for following those services' terms. arii doesn't sell or distribute music.

Paid plans

Paid plans are sold through our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, taxes, receipts, billing questions and returns. Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel; you can cancel at any time, and your plan's perks stay until the end of the period you paid for. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future periods, with notice. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Custom bots

Running your own bot with arii also follows our custom bot terms.

Ask arii

Ask arii's answers and drafts are written by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check them before you rely on them. Nothing arii drafts is saved, sent or changed until you choose to apply it, and you're responsible for what you apply, send or publish.

Acceptable use

Follow our community guidelines. Don't use arii to break the law, harm or deceive people, or abuse the service (for example, flooding it with requests, trying to reach what isn't yours, or getting around a restriction).

Enforcement

If you or a server break these terms or the guidelines, we may warn, limit, pause or remove access, a server's use of arii, a template or a custom bot, depending on how serious it is. Where we can, we tell you why, and you can appeal once from your account.

Ending

You can stop using arii at any time and delete your account from Account → privacy. We may end or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, arii is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will always be available, free of errors or secure, or that it will keep any content or data; keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Cloudbow Studio, and the people who make and run arii, aren't responsible for:

whatever the claim is based on, and even if we were told it could happen.

If, despite all of the above, we're found responsible for something, the most we'll owe for all claims together is what you paid us for arii in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. That's a ceiling, not an amount we offer to pay: it gives no one a right to any money, and only limits what could be owed for a loss that's actually proven. Some places don't allow these limits; there, they apply as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

You agree to cover Cloudbow Studio, and the people who make and run arii, against claims, losses and reasonable costs (legal fees included) that come from your content, your servers, your custom bots, or your breaking these terms or the law.

Changes

We may update these terms. When a change matters, we'll say so on the website or in arii before it takes effect; continuing to use arii afterwards means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live says otherwise for consumers.
