arii and premium

is arii free?

yes. every module is free: music, greetings, levels, tickets, flows and the rest, with no ads, ever. premium is for when you want more: a bigger music library, the prettier player, more room in your servers.

what's the difference between arii and a bot of my own?

arii is one bot that anyone can add. a bot of your own is arii under your bot's name, picture and profile, with every module and the whole dashboard. it's a plan of its own, the bot plan: see billing & refunds.

who can change arii's settings in a server?

people with manage server there, and the server's owner. to let someone else help, give them that permission in discord: the dashboard follows it by itself.

your data

what does arii keep about me and my server?

what it needs to work: discord ids, your server's settings and what you make in the dashboard. messages are only kept for modules you turn on that need them, like logs and tickets, and only for a while. the privacy policy has every detail and how long each thing is kept.

can i download or delete my data?

yes, without asking anyone. in the dashboard, account → privacy: download my data gives you everything arii keeps about you in one file, and delete my data removes some parts or your whole account. a whole account waits 14 days in case you change your mind, unless you pick delete now.

what happens if i remove arii from my server?

your server's settings are kept for 30 days. add arii back within them and everything is as it was; after that, they're deleted.

music

where can arii play from?

youtube, youtube music, spotify, apple music, deezer and soundcloud, plus links from bandcamp, twitch and vimeo, and links to audio files. paste a link or search by name with /play.

is there a player outside discord?

yes. while you're in arii's voice channel, the dashboard's player shows the song, the queue and the lyrics, and you can control it from there. it works with your keyboard's media keys and your lock screen too.

coming from legacy arii

is this the same arii?

yes, rebuilt from the ground up. legacy arii is the version that ran until now: it becomes this one in every server it's in, with nothing to add again.

what comes over from legacy arii?

your server: its settings (language, prefix, colour), saved messages, welcome, leave and boost messages, deleted-message logs and music settings.
custom commands: they become auto-replies, under flows, doing what they did. ones that named someone are worth a look.
you: your custom name, your playlists and your liked songs.
bots of your own: each one, with its servers. bots of your own are now part of the bot plan: without one, they keep running for 7 days and then pause, and nothing is deleted.

a few things don't come over: personal prefixes, the old word filters (arii uses discord's automod now) and hug and kiss counts.

i supported legacy arii on patreon. what happens now?

thank you ♡ arii's plans are sold through Paddle now, not patreon, and a thank-you gift of premium waits for you in account → gifts. if arii couldn't match your pledge to your discord account, you can ask for it there with your name or email on patreon, and we'll check.
