Custom bot terms
With arii you can run a bot of your own: your own Discord application, with its own name and picture, powered by arii. These terms add to our terms of service for that.
Your bot is yours
You create the bot's application in Discord's developer portal and you own it. You're responsible for how it's used and for following Discord's developer terms and developer policy, and our community guidelines, in every server it joins.
Your token
To run your bot, you give arii its token. We keep it encrypted and use it only to run your bot as you set it up; it's never shown in arii, to you or to anyone else. Keep it safe on your side too: anyone who has it can control your bot. You can reset it in Discord's developer portal at any time, which disconnects the bot until you give arii the new one.
What your bot does
Your bot acts in Discord as your application. You're responsible for what it does in the servers it's in, for the settings you give it, and for anything Discord decides about your application (limiting, flagging or deleting it); we aren't. arii runs your bot as you set it up, and isn't responsible for what happens because of that setup.
What we may do
We may pause or stop a custom bot if its token stops working, if your plan no longer covers it, if it breaks these terms, the guidelines or Discord's rules, or if it puts arii or other people at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and why. When a bot stops, arii disconnects from Discord; its data follows our privacy policy.
Plans and limits
How many bots you can run, and in how many servers, depends on your plan. If a plan ends, its bots are paused, not deleted, and start again when a plan covers them.
Leaving
You can delete a bot from arii at any time. It stops at once, and you have 24 hours to change your mind; then everything arii kept for it (its servers' settings, flows and history, and its token) is deleted.
